Hi,

I'm hoping someone can tell me how to alter the default font in the window when you go to Type>Find font.

I have to alter, by Find Font, one font in a lot of documents and it would be very time-saving if I could get the default to open with the font I need to change into.

At the moment, when I open this box, I get the default coming up as Times (T) when I'd like it to read - in this instance - Frutiger Std. If I could change this default, it would save me trawling through the drop down list of fonts I have open, on every document to go from Times to Frutiger.

I've tried altering things without any documents open but can't find where I could change this default and I can't get to the window without a document open as the option is greyed out.

I'm working on CS2 at the moment. I have CS4 (but not CS3) but can't use on this job because of the 'linking pictures' issue with client using CS3.

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks

Venita

I don't think there is any way to change that default, but typing the
first letter of the font should get you there quicker than scrolling
through a long list of fonts.
